C25K COMPLETE!!!!

I finished C25K tonight and did so with a 4 mile run! I finished the 4 miles in 44:56 which breaks down to an 11:13mm. I imagine if the wind wasn't blowing 15-20mph I could have done it faster but at this point it really doesn't matter. C25K is an AWESOME program. It took me 12 weeks, but I never repeated a day, I only miised time to "life" getting in the way. I knew completing the program was possible but I didn't know if I had the resolve to do it. I feel great, such a sense of accomplishment.
The next goal is my 5K next week and then onto 5 miles!

fantastic job!!!!!!!!!
i am on w8d3 myself and feel the need to talk incessantly about how great c25k is. i think back to how i felt in the beginning - hopeful but completely uncertain of how on earth i was ever going to run for anything more than a minute. now, being able to run for 28 minutes and feeling like i could do more, it's absolutely amazing!
keep us updated on your new goals & progress! for me, it's a big motivator to hear what other people do next ![]()

Let me add my congratulations to everyone else's. Just goes to show what determination and commitment can do to reach a goal. I don't doubt that you can reach your goal weight.
My son and daughter-in-law live in Ankeny and we have all run the Des Moines Marathon. Son does the full and she and I do the half. My son's company may send him on a trip about that time, so I haven't signed up yet for this year.
