Sweat stinging my eyes, what can I do?

In my long runs, I get this salty sweat that burns my eyes horribly. Sometimes wiping my eyes with my hands makes it even worse!
Any ideas on what to do?
A hat, visor or head band may help?
I wear a running ball cap and tech shirts with sleeves. Much rather have the short sleeves to wipe my face than running sleeveless. You could always carry a hankercheif with you also.

Headband. Made just for that purpose.
A headband is nice but has the side-effect of an unusual tan line.
Hats (ballcap style) are good too, and what I wear. They shade the eyes, as well as cover the head. BUT . . make sure it is well ventilated because it contributes to heat retention. In really hot weather, dumping some water on the hat helps.

There are a number of products on the market for this.
Here's a blog post I wrote about one of them:

If you want to look like a '70's porn start, a headband and wrist bands will do the trick. Personally, I wear a Nike dri-fit featherlite ball cap. It keeps the sweat out of my face keeps the sun out of my face. You don't have to use Nike, loys of companies make them, but make sure it's well ventilated and light weight. I don't even feel mine on my head when I run. I also wear a running belt to carry ID and a cell phone, and I'll tuck a hand towell in it sometimes if I feel like I'm going to need it.

The sweat GUTR looks like it might be perfect. Head bands and caps for me get saturated and the problem continues unless it is a short run.
Ball caps alone don't work. I wear an Under Armour ball cap and I still get sweat in my eyes. I will carry a portion of a paper towel in my hand and use it when needed.
I wear 2 bandanas pirate style-and carry a 3rd one in my hand to mop up with.

The Sweat GUTR is exactly what I need. Although I can't find one anywhere locally and I've got the OneAmerica Indy-Mini on Saturday.
Headsweats brand gear works great. You can find it on runningwearhouse.com or at headsweats own website.

Had the same problem. I use a hat by a company called Halo. They also make visors, etc. Great product.
Two words...Bondi Band. Goggle it. It will change your life.

A bondi band or what i have found to be the best is a dri-fit visor/hat. It keeps all the sweat away and if youre running in the sun it keeps that away too. I have also realized I cannot run in the rain without a visor/hat....so that seems best option!!
