I had posted a question several weeks ago about being diagnosed with hip tendonitis (tremendously painful) while training for a marathon. I ended up healing my tendonitis completely, training as much as I could (my longest run was only 15 miles, a week before the race) and I ran the full Orange County Marathon on Sunday--7 weeks after my initial injury!! I had lots of leg pain, but my hip never flared up! I attribute the healing to regular icing, stretching, foam rolling and a Compex machine that my ART loaned me.
