Do tri clubs in the East Bay (Oakland, CA) exist?

I am training for my first triathlon and can't seem to find any tri clubs, which seem strange to me since the East Bay is huge. There are several in San Francisco...there has got to be something in the East Bay. Help!

Mostly in the Contra Costa or tri-valley area (Dublin/Pleasanton). Check http://www.changeofpace.com/ncalifornia_clubs.html for what might be nearest to you and still active. My sister is in San Ramon and does tris but does not belong to a club. She is always looking for training partners though.

BT is right. The Tri-Valley Triathlon Club is located in the San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, and Livermore area. Additionally, they practice in the Fremont, Union City and Newark areas. Many of the members are located outside these areas including Benicia, Walnut Creek, San Leandro and Oakland.
