Running Tattoo

I am thinking about getting a tattoo and would like it to deal with running. I have ran the Des Moines Marathon a few times and they have a pretty cool logo. It is a tribal runner that is blue and green. There is a picture of it on the website: http://www.desmoinesmarathon.com[/URL" target="_blank">
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

How old are you Andy? All I can say is make sure this is something you want for the rest of your life. I got a tattoo when I was 19. While I don't mind having what I chose on my body now, I can tell you that at 29 I would not have made the same decision of getting one in the first place. Anyway, that being said, if you do get one then go to a really good place. It's worth the extra money. The last thing you need is someone else's mistake on you.

A tattoo is a great way to show how your feel about something. Just make sure it is in a spot that you will still want it in in about 40 years. Also make sure you check out the artwork of the person you go to. Make sure they use a new needle, aren't recycling ink and that they have a working autoclave. I got two tattoos at the age of 18 and if I had it to do over I would get them again.

I LOVE IT!!! So much that I am stealing it for myself!! I have wanted to get a tatoo for such a long time and did not know what I wanted....that one is perfect! Thanks for your help. I might put some saying under it to keep me motivated....just have to think of something!

The first time i saw that logo i wasn't sure if it was a swimmer or a runner... and i wasn't the only one who thought that
