PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla.. — The nation’s largest golf college, Keiser University College of Golf will be partnering with Florida high schools this month, introducing students to the fun opportunities and benefits of a professional career in golf. Representatives from Keiser University College of Golf will participate in Career Days held at the Indian River Charter High School in Vero, Fla., on April 11, 2011, and at Golden Gate High School in Fort Myers, Fla., on April 29, 2011.

“Having the right information and knowing your options is a real must for young adults considering their professional career paths after high school, and golf is a fun and fulfilling career choice for thousands of students across the country,” says John McMurray, vice president of Keiser University College of Golf. “Our program at Keiser University College of Golf offers an Associate of Science in Golf Management that includes access to the golf industry’s newest and technologically advanced educational facilities as well as the PGA Center of Golf. It’s a great combination that really gives our students unmatched educational opportunities.”

The golf industry’s newest educational facility, the Keiser University College of Golf features a 20,000-square-foot facility includes a 1,500-square-foot indoor putting green, advanced launch monitor technology, TaylorMade MAT-T swing analysis system, an interactive golf simulator provided by ForeGolf powered by SIRGUL, and a golf club repair lab. Students also receive access to the highly acclaimed PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance where they can practice on a 35-acre lighted practice range, short game areas, bunker facility and extensive putting greens.

The College of Golf at Keiser University program prepares students for a variety of positions in the golf industry, from golf courses to professional golf schools.
