Didn't work out in 3 days!! Didn't go friday because I didn't sleep at all Thursday night and didnt sleep at all on Friday so I didn't want to get injured being over tired. blah blah blah I know it's an excuse!! I do not workout out on the weekends because I do 14 hr shifts at work and log 3 miles a day on my feet...
I was nervous going to the gym last night.
I slept all day Monday after working all night Sunday, watched my 2 fav shows and then headed to the gym with my daughter.
I worked my arms till they felt like rubber and used a big ball and did crunches on it, just did a few legs machines as I didn't want to tire my legs before the treadmill tonight to see if that made a difference.... no progress on the assisted dip/chin up machine
I am actually starting to sweat on the weight machines! is that a sign I'm doing something right? lol
I feel like I'm struggling a little bit when I'm working out with the weight machines and that it should be enough weight/reps etc I'm doing, but I'm never sore and I increase the weight as I feel is needed or I can safely do. (but I'm chicken!!! to push really hard) but I have progressed from 10 lbs to 40 pounds on most machines and thats where I am at right now. I have no real plan as far as the weights go as of yet but, I think after my next 2 rounds of HCG (when i hit goal weight of 135 ) I will bite the bullet and get a personal trainer once a week as a guide.. ($30.00 for a 50 minute session~ 3 times a week is a lil too expensive for me to endure right now.) so I think if I even have a once weekly guide it may help progress me.
We headed upstairs to the treadmill,elliptical and bike area.
Got on the treadmill and started out slowly, then something came over me to just run!! not jog but run!! I put the speed to 5.5 which I have never done before and just ran for about 1 minute. my shins are fine!! but my breathing was out of whack a bit... I continued to walk at 3.3- 4.0 and did these bouts of running 4 more times...I did 1.8 miles in 30 minutes still not close to where I even need to be.. but it's a work in progress.. then I got on the bike and did 15 minutes... I swear I sweated for an hour afterward.
Any comments or suggestions appreciated.
