About Me: I had started jogging a little, 4 miles a couple times a week. My first 5k was probably a year later in May 2008 and I realized I had to quit smoking if I wanted to survive any future races. I quit that day, ran my second 5k in June, third July 4th and my fourth Aug 3rd pace 10:09. Got up tp 20+ miles a week. Monthly totals May 33, June 66, July 97.5 miles Aug 98 Then in Sept the bottom fell out. Hip bursitis sidelined me until the end of Nov 08. I'm was on the rebound building up my mles again. Nov 08 monthly total: 27 miles. Dec 08, 57 miles Jan 09 58.3 miles.....just when things are going good I fall on my knee May 16th and I'm out for the summer. Just building miles again Aug 09 totals: 55 miles
