Comments: Not sure what I'm going to do tomorrow. The schedule says 6 miles easy. But a friend and I have been talking about going for a long bike ride, depending on what his family decides to do for the long weekend. Check in tomorrow to see. (The suspense is killing me!)
Comments: OK, I took an unexpected day off. For the third day in a row, I woke up in a funk, and I decided an extra day off would do me more good than a run. I'll do today's run tomorrow, and then, depending on how I feel, I may make up the off day later this week, or I may just let it go.
Comments: I have to remember to stretch after my runs. I have felt so much better this week, when I have stretched, than I did last week, when I didn't. I don't know why it is taking me so long to learn that lesson.
Comments: I really felt good this morning. Yes, the last few miles were tough, but not overwhelmingly so. And I bounced back fairly quickly after. So I'm happy. Now two easy days, then a tough, tough weekend.
Comments: After yesterday's long run, I had planned to run easy today. But I felt good, and it was a nice morning, so I got out and ran 9 miles at just under my 10 minute pace. It was hard, but it felt good! I'm dedicating this morning's run to Paula Radcliffe, who also finished even though she didn't feel like it.
Comments: Definitely a challenging day. I didn't sleep well, and I was already pretty sore. It wasn't too hot, but the humidity was oppressive. I feel good about having hung in there and finished my scheduled mileage.
Comments: Rearranging the schedule somewhat, since I had to leave the house early. Friday's day off is coming today, and today's scheduled 4 mile run will be Friday. I did get in a ton of walking at the Iowa State Fair.
Comments: I've been slacking on my stretching lately. On Thursday and Friday, I was in too much of a hurry, and today, I was too tired to bend over and tie my shoes, never mind stretch. I might try to do some yoga this afternoon.
