Comments: I went a little longer than I had planned. I hit a closed road, and, rather than turn around, I ran past it, and ended up going a mile or more out of my way.
Comments: A thunderstorm forced me indoors. Which meant that rather than starting at 5:20 or 5:30, I had to wait for the gym to open at 6:00. So I cut my run a little short. If I can run outside tomorrow, I'll run an extra couple of miles, albeit slowly.
Comments: It was an OK ride, but I'm having a little trouble with my bike. It's squeaky. I have to see if I can lube something or tighten something or both.
Comments: I timed myself on a mile on the track, as part of a 1 mile virtual race. I don't think I've run a timed mile since I was in school. I did OK, especially considering I ran 4.5 miles to warm up (and then 3.6 to cool down.)
Comments: I don't know why I scheduled another pace run so soon after the half marathon. But I did hit my pace right on the head. I'm tired now, but feel pretty good about the day.
Comments: I was viewing this half marathon as a 13 mile pace run. I went out way, way too fast. My first mile was 8:30! However, I never let my pace drop below 10:00, and my overall pace was OK. Now I just need to run twice that distance in twice that time!
Comments: I didn't take the day totally off. I biked with my daughter out to StuffMart, about a six mile round trip. But that wasn't exercise. That was errands.
