Comments: A thunderstorm forced me indoors. Which meant that rather than starting at 5:20 or 5:30, I had to wait for the gym to open at 6:00. So I cut my run a little short. If I can run outside tomorrow, I'll run an extra couple of miles, albeit slowly.
Comments: I don't know why I scheduled another pace run so soon after the half marathon. But I did hit my pace right on the head. I'm tired now, but feel pretty good about the day.
Comments: OK, I took an unexpected day off. For the third day in a row, I woke up in a funk, and I decided an extra day off would do me more good than a run. I'll do today's run tomorrow, and then, depending on how I feel, I may make up the off day later this week, or I may just let it go.
Comments: I really felt good this morning. Yes, the last few miles were tough, but not overwhelmingly so. And I bounced back fairly quickly after. So I'm happy. Now two easy days, then a tough, tough weekend.
Comments: Somewhat cooler, and much less humid, so an 8 mile pace run wasn't hard at all. I felt really good, and hit my 10 minute pace just about perfectly.
Comments: Yuck. Ugly run. I held the pace for the first four miles or so, but ended up walking and trotting the last three. Wicked humid. If I'm a beast, it's a tame one.
Comments: Took an unscheduled day off yesterday. I needed it. Today, I kept a nice steady pace over a hilly course. I'm happy with today's performance.
