http://powergympilates.iim.bz/images/pilatespowergym.jpgPilates Home Gym Equipment is something that can be used in the privacy of your own home.  There is no need to join expensive gyms that you will usually not end up using after a month.  The exercises when performed daily will transform the look of your whole body.

Pilates is no new gimmicky product in fact the creator Joseph Pilates, claimed that his method has a philosophical and theoretical foundation. The exercises themselves have been devised and refined over a period of 80 yrs to what they are today.

The whole principles behind the exercises are centring, concentration, control, precision, breathing and flowing movement are comparable to those of yoga that is popular today. I would like to go through some of the foundations of Pilates.

Number one principle is mind over matter. The aim of Pilates is to create a fusion between mind over body. The idea without thinking about it is the body will move with fluid graceful movements and balance.

With Pilates exercise equipment you will want to ensure you are doing the movements correctly to get the most out of your exercise routine so it is suggested and recommended especially if you are a novice that you start with an instructional DVD that will offer you a viewing of a basic routine. The benefit to this is that you will work out beside people who know what the correct techniques are and by doing this you will not engage in any unsafe practices. While this is not the newest innovation in Pilates exercise equipment it is the most important item.

For those of us who are not able to afford a personal trainer using the DVD with the Pilates exercises is the next best thing, this will act as a motivational tool as well as you work your way through the various exercises.

Another popular piece of equipment is the Pilates ball as it caters to all fitness levels regardless of your capabilities. By using this piece of exercise equipment is just plain fun. As you are able to do your workout by either balancing or rolling on these large bouncy balls without the effort you would feel if just doing the same thing on the ground. The results from using the ball are excellent and as some of the exercises can be performed without weight bearing this is an ideal exercise for those that have injuries.  Of course anyone with an injury or is obese would be advised to discuss their exercise plan with their medical physician prior to commencing any new exercise routines.  The large exercise ball is by far the most popular equipment used in the home today.

The use of resistance bands is great for adding a little more strength training into the routine by using the bands it can really help to keep variety in your workout along with adding another layer of intensity for the person that is becoming bored with the same routine. I would advise to not use the bands as a beginner and only introduce when you are at the intermediate level.

If you stick with Pilates faithfully, it will dramatically change the way your body feels, looks and performs.  The Pilates exercises builds strength without having to worry about excess muscle. The benefits of doing these types of exercises regularly will create a sleek, toned body that has a flat abdomen and slender thighs.

Pilates teaches good posture, body awareness and easy, graceful movements. It will improve you agility, flexibility and economy of motion.  It can also help to relieve back pain. Professional dancers have been using Pilates for decades. Many of your top athletes use it for flexibility, strength and injury prevention. There are supermodels and Hollywood celebrities that swear by the use of Pilates exercises to maintain beautiful bodies.

As you can see Pilates develops a strong center of the body or core and this is vital to anyone young or old. It will increase flexibility and agility and as a result you will develop optimal core control.  The exercises themselves will help create flat abs as well as a strong back.

http://hooveruh70120windtunnel.com/images/HooverWindTunnelUH70120.jpg

I previously had a Hoover Windtunnel, it lasted two houses and over 9  years and it finally had enough of keeping up with our two children and 4  pets.  So I went out to every website I could find with reviews on  vacuum cleaners, including Amazon, and looked at everything from the  Dyson, Kenmore, Dirt Devil, Hoover, and so many more.   I promised  myself that after I used my vacuum cleaner for 3 months I would help all  those out there like me looking for a good review and let them know  about my experience because the reviews were so helpful to me.

So after reading a bunch of reviews I was leaning towards a Dyson or  a Kenmore Progressive.  Well my friend had a Dirt Devil M140005 Vision  Cyclonic 12 Amp Upright Vacuum Cleaner, a Kenmore Progressive Upright  Vacuum, and a canister vacuum cleaner (forgot the brand) that she let me  test out.  Let's just say I hated all three, the Dirt Devil was a joke,  the Kenmore was so heavy and a pain to use, the canister was a pain to  use and none of them worked well with pet hair.

So then I went to a local store and looked at the Dyson DC 23  Motorhead and really considered paying over $400 for it.  But then I  looked down the aisle and there not too far down from it stood the  Hoover UH70120 WindTunnel and it was only $100 so I decided to give the  Hoover a try thinking if I wasn't satisfied I could take it back.  I am  so happy that I saved $300 and love how well my Hoover works.  It sucks  up pet hair off the furniture very well, I have hardwoods throughout my  house and it picks up fur and dirt off the floor without blowing it  around (the suction is great) and I only have 3 complaints but ya know  for the price I can live with them.  Complaint #1  I wish the powered  hand tool stuck on a little bit better to the vacuum cleaner, if I am  not careful to put it on correctly it falls off, so I need to be a  little more careful,  Complaint #2, empting out the canister can be a  little bit dirty so I always do it outside and then it's fine,   Complaint #3, I love the retractable cord, I just wish it were up a  little higher instead of so low, it would just help keep it from going  under the vacuum cleaner but, there is a little clip and if you clip the  cord to the vacuum cleaner you don't have to worry about it going under  the vacuum cleaner so problem solved.
So I say save your money instead of wasting it on a Dyson or a Kenmore for the price this vacuum cleaner is so worth it.

PROS:
* Picks up so much hidden dirt in our thick carpet, it scared us the first time we looked in the canister!
* For how much power it has, it is actually very quiet - actually quieter than our old 10 amp vacuum
* Turns on a dime and gets into nooks and crannies really well - we don't have to use the hand tools on every single wall edge
* The attachment with moving brushes cleans stares amazingly well
* No filters or bags to buy - this is a huge plus as we could never find a replacement filter for our old vacuum
* The cord is very long and it retracts into the vacuum. Wow. I find  wrapping up long cords so annoying. Having this cord self retract is  actually kind of fun (ok, so I'm easily amused!)
* The color is trendy.
* It is fairly lightweight
* I like that you can adjust the height for different carpet  lengths. I know that this isn't really a groundbreaking feature, but not  all vacuums have it and it makes a big difference.

CONS:
* While it is comparatively lightweight, people that have a hard time lifting may find it a little heavy.
* Other reviews complain that pet hair can get stuck in the  canister, and that at times you may have to reach in slightly with two  fingers to pull the hairs out. To me, this is only a minor annoyance. I  also think that with any bagless vacuum, there will usually be some  occasional contact with the materials that you you are cleaning off of  your carpets.

OVERALL: This is a great vacuum for the price. If this is within your price range, you should go for it.

http://bowflex552sale.chatanika.com/images/bowflex552.jpg

I used the Bowflex 552 dumbells with my P90X workout and I have to say they made life a heck of a lot easier. It couldn't be easier to select the appropriate weight with these things, and with limited time between excersizes, these were golden. The construction is sturdy; not once did I feel any uneasiness in using them. Even moves where the dumbells were lifted quickly and brought back down didn't cause any issues with the locking mechanism of the dumbells. The only slight issue is the overall length of the dumbells. The width is manageable but the length can cause a few issues in maybe 5% of the excersizes performed.

An example of this is doing concentration curls with both arms simultaneously. I ended up having to alternate to get around the length of the dumbell. All in all it is quite easy to work around this small issue and it doesn't impact the 5 star rating for me especially considering that having used the block alternative as well, the bowflex ones caused a lot less issues during excersize movements.

I used these without the stand, if you do as well make sure you lift with your legs and not your back. If you have a bad back, or just want to be safe, you may want to go with the stand. (Though theres nothing wrong with a little extra leg work with the proper form) In summary, if your doing P90X, or any other home workout routine that requires you to switch weights quickly, this is the dumbell for you. Also if your going for P90X know that the 552 version covered the weight I needed for every single excersize (I'm 5'11' and 195 lean muscle). I may have been able to go heavier on a few excersizes but the sheer intensity of this workout would have limited my reps significantly. Hope this helps!

http://masterbuiltturkeyfryer.chatanika.com/images/masterbuilt-turkey-Fryer.jpg

I started using this Masterbuilt Indoor Turkey Fryer 2 days ago. Best catfish ever! I also fried turkey wings and a whole chicken the same day. I had no trouble at all with a 4 lb chicken and bought some small turkeys to fry later. Imagine frying a whole chicken in 17 minutes! No need to imagine it, you can do it!

Easy to use even for a beginner. Cleanup is a breeze! The oil drains perfectly clean if you want to use it again. I was able to drain it all back into the bottles without using a strainer.

The Masterbuilt company has answered every question in a very timely fashion. I would recommend this Indoor Fryer to anyone looking to have fun frying foods.

This is a great Turkey cooking tool! It takes about 15-20 minutes to assemble (unfortunate, but I'm sure it reduces the cost to the consumer as well). The craftsmanship isn't A-grade because of sharp edges and such, but overall it is sturdy enough to seem like it will last a long time.

I wanted to test it out before Thanksgiving, so I bought a 12 lbs turkey to try it out. The turkey took about 2 hours and 15 minutes to cook, which is a little longer than their estimated time (the outside temperature was rather low at 30 degrees F).

The result? Delicious. The skin was nice and crispy, and the inside meat was extremely moist.

The Turkey fryer is easy to use, and it can be used for cooking all kinds of meats. I'm really excited to cook a bigger bird on Thankgiving Dinner

http://savercheaper.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Fisher-Price-iXL-6-in-1-Learning-System.jpg

The Fisher-Price iXL is a handheld touch screen device aimed at 3 to 7 year olds. It has a book form factor and it's dimensions are about 5" x 4" x 1.75" while closed. I don't have an exact weight for it but it feels like it's about 0.5 lbs. It has a 3.5" color resistive touchscreen, and a plastic stylus attached to the toy via a 7" nylon cord. There is an SD expansion slot for additional memory capacity, a light sensor to adjust the LCD backlight, a headphone jack, and a single speaker for sound. The Fisher Price ixl learning system is powered by 4 AA batteries (not included).

Pros:

- Volume control. A must for parents.
- Expandable memory.
- Locking battery compartment (needs a coin or flat head screw driver to unlock).
- Easy to navigate icon based menus.
- Each button press or action is accompanied by a sound effect. The kids seem to like that direct feedback.
- Music uploaded to the device can be played in the Paint app and the Photo Viewer while your child is coloring.
- The Photo Viewer allows your child to paint over your uploaded photos.
- Feels durable.
- Age range is 3 to 7 years, but both my 2 and 4 year old find it easy to use and fun.
- Included device management software for Windows 7 and up as well as OSX
- Connects via a standard USB cable, nice if you ever lose the one that came with it.
- Comes in 3 colors.

Cons:

- It's a bit bulky in size for small hands.
- Fairly small and low resolution screen.
- The Resistive touchscreen requires the use of the stylus or fingernail, otherwise it requires a firm finger press. Without the stylus my children often find themselves pressing the same button several times before it registers.
- Heavy compression on uploaded photos. Even the black and white color book pages I uploaded to the device ended up with a ton of compression artifacts.
- The resistive screen sometimes "hiccups" and registers a touch away from your finger or stylus before correcting itself.
- We're on our 2nd iXL. The included software prompted us to upgrade the firmware on the device and the update completely bricked it. It would load nothing but a scrambled screen on start up. We replaced it and I've skipped the update since and have experienced no problems.
- The battery cover is painted with a design in either pink, blue, or silver. It's easily scratched off.
- 4 AA batteries provide about 2 to 3 hours of playtime. That's not horrible for AA batteries, but it's not cheap. I recommend purchasing a good set of rechargeables for this.
- Additional software titles are a bit pricey. Hovering around $20 isn't horrible, but when you compare it to say Apps for the iPhone which sell from $1 to $10, it seems a bit steep.

http://cheapgshockwatches.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Casio-GW5600J-1-G-Shock.jpg

I never thought I would consider buy cheap Casio G Shock Watch. I equated the Casio name to somewhat cheesy and definitely cheap products - mainly calculators and keyboards. Well, I admit I was misinformed because after many months searching for an accurate, waterproof, overbuilt, and cool looking black watch I came to the conclusion I would try the Casio Gw5600-1.

The Casio Gw5600-1 seemed to be as close I could get to my target attributes at an affordable price. I must say it is a very attractive watch, even better looking in person. It's easy to read the time at a glance as long as light is adequate. The luminous markings do not last all night long and they're not superbright so if you require that this isn't for you. The black rubber (resin, what's the difference?) strap is nicely integrated to the rubber yoke which frames the dark gun-metal brused case. While this makes the rubber strap look better, it's still a piece of rubber and I think a watch of this caliber deserves a black metal or black ceramic band to really complete the high-end techno look.
