This was the last week of the last summer session of boot camp. Only two of the Marines weren't on leave so we had to do mostly group things. Monday and Tuesday were good workouts even though we had a PT form challenge on Tuesday. We all lined up in formation and the SSgt Seiben would lead and exercise. If you did it incorrectly you had to go to the back of the gym with Sgt H and watch the competition while doing exercises. I was out early. My arms were tired and I couldn't hold my form so I took my self out of the competition. It's all about integrity. I missed Thursday because my wife was at an overnight conference so I had to get the kids up and ready for school.
Running - I ran 2 miles Monday, 1 during boot camp and 1 right after boot camp, I ran 5 miles on Wednesday, no running on Thursday (see above) but the girls and I did get in a mile and a half walk/jog, nothing on Friday. Today I ran 6.3 miles with Greg, Tammy and Cathy. We started out near the Old Village of Mt Pleasant and ran all over Mt P. We kept it at about a 13 minute pace. When we were done with the 6 miles Greg, Cathy and Tammy went for another 5 miles (they are training for a half at the end of December).
