hey there, I just recently found this website and was doing a search for people who were interested in "Free Hugs". I came upon your story here only to find out that it's about myself. I'm glad that you were able to find enjoyment in your hug experience. I too have started looking and reading the signs others have created. It kind be quite an interesting take on people watching.

No need for a filter the sky is really that blue! I love that picture too and remember barely thinking about it at the time as I snapped away on my walk.

I did not need to get too close to the picture - my sony camera has an excellent optical zoom on it.

That picture was taken at our hotel in Port Douglas. Thank goodness I had a pedicure before hand

I stopped by the ice rink this weekend after reading your post and it was such a blast. Santa Monica definitely has the holiday spirit this year and I wanted to say thank you for letting us know about it.
