It offers the opportunity to participate in a competitive travel program for both boys and girls. Its goal is to build a competitive junior basketball program that is recognized as having players, coaches and parents who demonstrate good sportsmanship and integrity at all times. </p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&nbsp;</p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&nbsp;</p><p>Since 1999, over 1,500 players have participated in the program. The program offers players an opportunity to practice and experience travel quality games, tournaments and league play. The level of play is competitive and a high level commitment by both players and parents to the program is expected. Those eligible players include both boys and girls, grades 4th-8th who live within Glenbard West's High School District 87 boundaries. </p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&nbsp;</p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&nbsp;</p><p>The 2008-2009 Winter season began in early November and ends mid March.
