I understand the anxiety. Don’t let one “bad” run stop you. If you can do another long run this weekend, even if it’s just 9 miles, do it. If not, let it go so you have a full week to run easy and taper before your race. Either way, you will be fine. You might not have a fast race, but you’ve run 9 miles. You can run the remaining 4 on race day adrenaline. It’s been a rough couple of months for those of us in the winter latitudes. Good luck!
