Running economy is a very good indicator of how good at running somebody is.
The easiest method to improve your running economy at a certain pace is mileage at that specific pace. However, there comes to a point where you’ll either plateau or get injured. And that’s when you need to tap into the other 3 methods of improving RE.
- Hill sprints. 2. Strength Training (Explosive and high weight low volume) 3. Stretching (and also altitude training but not many people have access to this)
