I have a fitness test tomorrow. I have to do the mile and a half run. I am a big guy. 6'3 280 (ex football player, not fat and out of shape) and I suck at long distance running, yes a mile and a half is long to me. Is there any advice on how to handle the run tomorrow? Nutrition, breathing technique, form, anything? Last time I ran it I missed my time by exactly 5 seconds but I was dying. It felt harder than the running I did to prepare for the test for some reason. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
