If you want a great distraction-free workout, or just can't find the oomph to brave a cold ride, you won't find a better way to spend time than an indoor ride on the trainer. But no matter how much you love racing around virtual islands with Zwift or being able to spin to your favorite music, sometimes trainer time feels more like a chore. Indoor rides help us get fit quick, but pedaling to nowhere can get old fast.
It's not just you. Here's the inner monologue we've all had on some of our darker trainer days.

I’m good to go. Shoes on, shorts on, bike is set up just right, Netflix queued up. I’m basically a trainer professional.
