Swimming books?

Do you have any books to recommend a swimmer looking to make general improvements?

    Re: Swimming books?

what up player.  I'm lovin' this website bro.

Last year I took an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor class at my local community college.  I had been swimming for like 20 years, but I had never learned "how to swim".  In learning how to teach others proper swim technique I learned a lot about my own strokes and actually shaved seconds off my lap time.  The text book is called Swimming and Water Safety by the American Red Cross and can be purchased for like 10 bucks on amazon.com.  Admittedly it is rather rudimentary, but thats what makes it so easy to understand.  It is a quality intro to swimming reference, but if anyone else has suggestions for advanced swim technique or training books, do tell.  Hope that helps.

    peace out homeslice!
