I was upset that I had not backed up my data before the changeover, and more so after I saw the results of the changeover.
It occurred to me that it might be possible to access my old Coolrunning log somehow, and I figured out a way that's really pretty easy.
Access your public log - I don't know if everyone has one or not, but I occasionally shared with my family and friends so I had the link I had sent on. It's in this format:
From there, click on Tools, and you can export the data you painstakingly have added over however long you were using Coolrunning.com.
This worked for me as well and made it so that I could print off the last few months of logs to keep my training going in the right direction. Thanks for the idea. My log was under the name of Kipps Kangaroo so if you try sticking in your name, maybe you guys that didn't send yourself the emails to check your logs can access yours that way, maybe? See Below ......Good luck.

Just a FYI regarding my recent stats.
I didn't / couldn't retreive anything, in fact, this so-called new & improved site will not recognize my old user name, pass word or anything else. It just keeps saying the is an error that they will file for future use. Huh? How does this help me get back to my old friends? This new site SUCKS! Get your act together people!
Totally frustrated in Montreal
My data wasn't public either and, even with the modified link ("p" for private password instead of "s" for shared password), I cannot access my data. Most of it is here in the Active "training calendar" but I am missing some and don't like the format. This sucks.
Even though I had never shared my log, nor was it public, I got into the old Cool Running site using:
Substitute your username.
You can then export your log from the CoolRunning Tools menu and open it in Excel.
So much for Active Trainer. Screw 'em.
This is the worst idea ever. Thanks for losing 2 years of running logs and memories. I cannot believe that coolrunning's log could turn into this garbage. Bring it back! Now I have no way of ever looking back at years of progress, way to go.

You should be able to download your log using the method described above. If that doesn't work, you need to follow this method:
