My annual visit...

The five folks on the right of the MCM board will recognize me.  I just thought I'd pop in and ask ...

"Who's excited about running the 35th annual Marine Corps Marathon?!?!?"

This will be my 4th MCM and 26th marathon and marks 3 years of running.  Well, this last year seems more like plodding but running nonetheless.  This will probably be my slowest MCM and I'm going to be content with 4:30 or faster.  Otherwise I'm catching a cab. :-)

So, hello everyone and good luck on the 31st!

(In other positive news, I was able to login the first time here at Active....)  :-)

Obsessed with running and racing. It's all about the bling, baby! Suck it up and RUN!

U know, I've been thinking about buying the Shake Weight and bringing it to work so that I can get my work-outs in during lunch.  Or during meetings? I don't think that'll be distracting right?

Hi JERRY! AND SHUT UP, cause you know you'll do excellent! You're such an experienced marathoner. You got this one!

This will definitely be my most challenging MCM EVER. Hands down. Meaning when I get to the bridge, I might want to jump off. Why do we do this to ourselves.

note to newbies: This will be a party. You will love the MCM. I promise you! Good luck everyone.

    Yo, Y'all

I'll be back for my 35th. All 4 of the Ground Pounder OFs will be wearing bib number 35 with different timing chips. I haven't posted this year, but I have checked the board regularly. Hello to everyone!

Thanks, Jerry. That's not me - I'm from NC. That might have been Mel Williams - a thin balding guy.
