Well, I guess your office needs to have a
Baki the Grappler marathon because they're not knowin'.
As a world class athlete the body is hyper efficient at recycling
protein, catalyzing and synthesizing chemical compounds. The extreme
intensity of an ultra marathon, building a house, working a farm, 5.10+
climb, or death match requires much more energy (calories) to function
at the elevated metabolic rate. So as long as you feed the macchine, it
will go. The food is physical until an individual surpasses the
ordinary levels of human exertion. A resonating circuit of energy. I
have read Dr. Andrew Weil state that Calcium consumption is not as
important as Calcium absorbtion. Cola, refined sugar, hydrogenated
oils, and fast food may be considered junk, but it could save your life
if your starving. If you train like an anima, you are probably
starving, if even just momentarily.
identity and integrity. you know you're the man, shake the haters. haha. I'm sure there is mad politics at the Active Network as to what everyone brings in their lunch box. somebody walks by with a diet Coke as a colleague coughs uttering "aspartame". are those baby carrots organic? hmmm.
if I could make one suggestion to the mid-training diet I would say maybe try Larabars instead of Fig Newtons. but, I am addicted to Larabars. hahahaahaha. rock on!
