Here's a silly question. The Mt. Lemmon HM is the only event I've run so far that's had a finisher's medal, and there were several race reviews slamming the design (mostly because it was ceramic). So what makes a "good" medal? Which is your favorite?

So far, the Womens Half Marathon medal - the interior of the medal is a charm that is removable to put on a necklace. And it was my first half marathon distance race November 2009.
I have 4. The 2009 and 2010 Philly Half Marathons, the Baltimore Marathon Relay, and a silver-colored medal for finishing 2nd in my age group in a little 5K in which there were probably 20 or fewer participants.
The 2009 Half is the one I'm most proud of, because it was my first "long" race.
The Baltimore Marathon Relay has a cartoon crab on it, though. It's really funny and everyone on our relay team loved them.
There's no bad finishers medals, though!
Wow! Congratulations! My wife's doing the princess half, and there was a flyer for the Goofy Challenge along with her paperwork, and I saw it and thought "That's crazy."
Probably the one from the Baltimore Half-Marathon 2008. First of all, because it's a crab! Second of all, it was the first race I ever did, so it brings back great memories.
Sorry for the bad quality, taken with my cell phone camera I also attached a picture from post race after we got out medals. I'm in the orange shirt, with my sister on the right.
