hey all,

i got hit by a car about 2 weeks ago while on a bike ride.

luckily, i only broke my left knee cap.  I'm still in a full leg cast for 6 weeks and then PT after that.  The doctor said i won't be able to ride a bike until march.

i'm signed up for the Providence, RI half ironman in June.

Has anyone broken their knee cap before and had surgery?  What's the recovery/PT like?  Is the race in June possible?
