    Day 7 - One week - Yahooo!   Did 50 minutes on the Ellilpitical x-training program, walked outside downtown Chicago for 30 minutes....back to central IL for 3 days and then return to my fav workout machines next week to finish up training.

     

    PaintingLady - what is 'wu' and 'cd'?  I am slow and accronym challenged       !!   I am glad to read I am not the only one who would like to chomp down on a nice piece of fried food - chicken leg.  Behaving though as the food is a big temptation.  I have found some great choices in the French Market and a potential mid-eastern cafe for Friday  - Jerusalem salad?  Hummus?  falafel?  Any help in what is tasty will be appreciated.

     

    All found at Haifa Cafe and sounds healthy by the brief description and fits the budget.

    Thursday, walked for 45 minutes...this week is taper time in preparation for tomorrow's race.

    And yes, Painting Lady, today is a new day.  I know the feeling when you have a bad eating day, but once in a while we can treat ourselves.  Balance is the key i guess!

    Day 83 complete - 45 minute yoga class.  And thank you Marie, I am feeling better.  Hope your fried food attack has passed, as well.  Nice to know that I am not the only one struggling with tempting foods.

    I had no motivation yesterday either but managed 40mins on the elliptical to complete day 29.  I suspect it had something to do with the Red Velvet cake/cheesecake I ate yesterday (leftover wedding cake of a co-worker).  Totally blew my calorie intake for the day.  I kept asking myself was it worth it... YES!

    New to this thread, so hello all. You are all such a supportive group. I am starting the 100 Day C. tomorrow along with the One Hundred Pushup and Two Hundred Situp. Yea, i know it sounds like a lot to take on but core strength is important too. Would like to do a 5K in June but am optimist. My weight was 276 lbs and I am at 260 lbs now. Definitely shooting for under 250 lbs by June. Last 5K I ran @ 201lbs was tough then.

    So I must have been missing this post since the first of the year...or maybe ignoring it as I got injured during marathon in dec and just at the end of Feb started back to running but here I am Thinking tomorrow will be day 1 as today is shot.

     

    Does yoga or dance count?
