Thanks so much to those who replied to my thread Running Wrong ? and told me the benefits of running aerobically . Raginsamster, Molly54, Lenzlaw, you all rock !!! Today I ran my first ten miles . My previous long was eight . If it weren't for a few nagging pains, I believe I could have run farther . Who would have believed that slowing down would make me a better runner ? On my first few slower ( aerobic ) runs it seemed counter intuitive to be exercising without working very hard . Ten miles , I understand now ! And I'll certainly feel it tomorrow.
