    Re: practice tips

I am a former college basketball player, and current basketball  skills/strength trainer.

As a seventh grader, your primary focus should be working your fundamentals.  What you need to do is keep practicing.  Work on a mix of basketball skill work (Developing  your  ball-handling, shooting, footwork, passing, and defense, along with some bodyweight exercises & flexibility)

You have some time before you have to start worrying about the collge scouts...I know you hear about kids comitting to college at a very young age, but this isn't the norm.  Work hard on your game, improve, be a good teammate. If you improve, people will take notice.  When you get be a 10th or 11th grader, if you aren't getting looks from schools and you think you deserve can start to be proactive with sending info to schools, but it is not woth it before then.

If you  work hard, anything is possible.  Set your goals, set-up a plan, then  work hard to get there.  I have a TON of guides and drills
