Hey, I need help from you guys.
I am a Forward and I always were a Close/Medium-range shooter, but I've been recently facing many teams with a 2-3 Zone Defense and I'm still looking to help my team win. I am going to ask you for tips to increase shooting range, so I can start making up 3-pointers. Tips, anyone, please??
Well, if you're a forward, shooting three's should not be your #1 weapon. But, if you are serious about becoming a good long-distance shooter, check out what iHoops has to say on 3-pointers in the Practice Time tab.
Yeah, I know it shouldn't be my n.1 weapon, but I want to keep my team in the championship and next season I'm going to a bigger age scale (from under 14 to under 16) with guys with the double of my height and able to dunk; now I'm not doing layups in front of those guys O.o Eighter way, thanks for the help
Well, if you do move up, then you probably won't be forward. If you do, it would probably be small forward. But being smaller, hopefully that means you will be faster than other players. Working on speed is key. In practice, go game speed as much as possible. Glad I could help! Good luck!
Yeah, not feeling they're going to put me in forward (or in some cases center) for quite a while, only if they make a new team with my team-mates of this season, but that's very unlikely, and right now I'm the 3rd fastest guy in my team (quitting our best point guards), so yeah, I'm gonna have practice soon, gonna try to speed up the game and doing practice as they show in Practice Time. Thanks a lot
