I can understand your frustration, I ran into a similar situation(not allergy related) all last year when I was losing weight and counting calories. It seemed there were always high calorie and high fat foods at the end of the races, except for the standard fruit (banana). I mean honestly, why do I want a greasy piece of pizza, potato chips, etc?! I started packing my own post-race snacks and would literally walk past all of the food available, grab a water and head to wherever I had my snacks.
