I am so proud of myself. I finally did it. I finished my very first 5k and now looking forward to my second. Thanks to all who inspired me and who gave me useful tips to make this event successful and memorable. You guys rock!
Congratulations! I actually posted in your thread on last minute advice and asked how it went. I'm so glad you did it and that you're feeling great. That's how everyone should feel after a race. Boast in your accomplishment. Great job!

Oh thanks a lot. I am indeed so happy and already looking forward to my second 5k. I was a little slow and kinds intimidated by the "true-blooded runners and veterans" but I was happy to be around with them. I crossed the line 40:45 which is shorter than I expected. I thought I will finish the race over an hour so I was really happy. And yes, I made a friend and a future running buddy so I look forward to training too. Take care.
Congratulations! I, too, am running my very first 5K on Saturday, April 9th. I read every comment/suggestion people gave you on your other post, so thank you! I hope to do as well as you!
Way to Push - GOOD Work - Congratulations!!!!!
Your 40 minute time is impressive - I did a 5k at 45:30? something like that and that is probably fast for me. I applaud you - your hard work and effort feels great doesn't it!?!
Great success on your next 5k!

thanks. i was the 5th to the last to cross the finish line but i felt so proud for completing the race. i didn't run against other runners but against myself and I won. yey.
YEAH!!!! Way to go. That is a most impressive finish for your first. I ran my first last month and finished about 18th from last. Our last place finisher was an 87yr old female who finished in 58 minutes. I was so very inspired by her and want to be doing this when I'm 87!
