Revolution alternative?  Minutemen alternative?  Create this, create that, dilute more, dilute more, all delusional.

Plenty of DVHL programs in the area, pick one and play hockey and maybe the teams we have would be better and we would improve the quality of play and still have our lives to live on weekends.

If you don't think a DVHL team provides enough hockey or development, well do a couple more tourneys  where you can play up, silver sticks etc., do clinics, maybe school hockey for some too.

No. You miss the point.  You can have a better more competitive DVHL,  which is not house league or soccer.  It is reasonable travel.

There are already too many teams in the area why continue to dilute the hockey more, then you add the AAA on top of that.  Why play a New England /NY league and do as you suggest. At least they are a bit smarter in New England when the focus becomes more on competitve high school hockey rather than the clubs at this age.  You have to try out for your school, no place else to run to. Best kids make it.  I don't get it.  Just go play AAA or decide you want to play in the league you have and make it better.  Put your presumed great coaching in that. Have fun, have playoffs make the kids better.    Push good hockey down to the people and the kids with reasonable travel and expense for families. What we are doing is just making things worse.  Its really all way to complicated.  Less teams, more talent competing to make the different levels.  Improve your local area league and stop the madness.  This is a bigger issue of course and USA hockey should address it more than they have to date. You suggest expansion when what is needed is consolidation.
