In looking online at his sample plans, I believe "A" is Aerobic pace, RI= Resting or Recovery Interval, BG= Big Gear (big chain ring, small cog), LG=Low Gear (small chain ring, large cog), and I would guess that TTG=Time Trial Gear (although I'm not sure what this would mean exactly), LT=Lactate Threshold.
