In The Zone is based in Flanders, NJ / Morris County. Players in 9U, 10U and 11U that reside within central and western Morris County are encouraged to tryout for one of our fall travel baseball teams.

Here is format for the Fall Travel Baseball Season. Note that the below schedule is subject to change:

Pre-Season (Practices prior to week of 9/5 are not mandatory due to vacation scheduling) 

Week of 8/15: 3 Outdoor Practices / Team Meeting / Parent Meeting

Week of 8/22: 3 Outdoor Practices

Week of 8/29: 3 Outdoor Practices (Trainer begins)

Week of 9/5: 2 Indoor Practices

Game Schedule 

Season Begins Saturday, September 10th Two games per week, typically Saturday or Sunday with scheduling flexibility

In-Season 

One Indoor practice per week - A weeknight, 7:30pm or 8pm start

Personal Training - NEW FOR FALL 2011!! 

Each player receives three ½ hour personal training sessions throughout the fall season

1 during 1st week

1 at midway point

1 during last week

Player Assessment - NEW FOR FALL 2011! 

At the end of the season a player assessment will be provided by trainer and coach highlighting the progress of the player and indicating areas which need to be improved upon

Tryout Dates Have Been Announced And Registration For The Following Age Groups Is Happening Now. You Only Have To Attend 1 Tryout, But Are Encouraged To Come To As Many As You Are Able To Attend: 

9U Fall Tryout dates: 7/31, 11am to 1pm 8/1, 7pm to 8:30pm 8/8, 7pm to 8:30pm

10U Fall Tryout dates: 7/31, 1:30pm to 3:30pm 8/2, 7pm to 9pm 8/9, 7pm to 9pm

11U Fall Tryout dates: 7/31, 4pm to 6pm 8/1, 8:30pm to 10pm 8/8, 8:30pm to 10pm

Our travel program is built around instruction and development while being 'extra baseball'. The training environment is fair and supportive. Each team is assigned a professional trainer in addition to a coach who work on team & confidence building, fundamentals, and much more.   Children learn ad grow in a fun, upbeat envorinment deisgned to bring out the BEST in every child!
