Hey all, i have a question regarding breakfast
I have been trying to put together a breakfast that tastes great, is quick and easy to prepare and most importantly, is full of good stuff! This is what iv got so far
50g Wholegrain Oats with low fat milk
2 Tablespoons Low fat Yogurt
2 Freshly sliced Kiwifruit
2 Freshly sliced Strawberries
Half a handful of raw almonds
1 Table spoon of Honey
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Any suggestions on things to add? Or things to take out?
I have been thinking about adding a coffee to this but I am still confused as to whether Coffee is healthy or not?
You could add in protein powder. I use the Body By Vi shake mix.."its the shake mix that tastes like cake mix" LOL
But its really good, only 90 calories, mixes well with anything. I actually put one spoonful of instant coffee in mine!!
Hey Kaylm, there are a lot of great juicer recipes out there for delicious and healthy beverages/smoothies. Changing it up can keep you from getting bored and back to the evil McMuffin. I particularly like the Hawaiian Twist in the morning.
You can add a couple of egg whites (on the side of course). This will give you a very bioavailable protein source without the fat. Coffee is high in antioxidants, but I wouldn't add it just for that reason, however if you normally drink a cup you can continue to do so.
