Sorry for the intrusion into your forum, but I just have to share.
I LOVE donuts! I just ate three of them, and I could finish off the box. Carbs, fat, sugar...three of your basic food groups, right there. Just add alcohol and barbecue and you've got 'em all!
Seriously, though. I watch my intake of donuts cuz I don't want to pork out. But after my run this morning, I was Jonesing for a nice glazed donut. One of the greatest things about being a runner is that I get to indulge myself from time to time. And when I do, a nice warm donut, fresh out of the boiling grease, is just the thing.
You can eat donuts and still be lean, trim and healthy. Isn't that one of the reasons we run? To enjoy an indulgence now and then, without worrying about becoming some obsessive food freak?
