The current 16U Sting team is moving up to 18U and a newly formed 16U team is being put together within the  Texas Sting Organization managed by Bob Morse.

We are holding OPEN TRYOUTS Sat 8/20 & Sun 8/21 at Baseball USA

Saturday from 6:00 - 7:30pm on Field 8.

Sunday from 1:30 - 3:00pm on Field 8.

We are looking for talented Freshmen and Sophomore athletes with great attitudes and dedication for our upcoming Fall 2011 / Spring 2012 season.

All positions are open and earned. We have a solid core group of ladies with amazing chemistry and we are looking to complete our roster with several more players including a bracket pitcher(s) and a catcher.

We will be playing in two tournaments a month and several major tournaments through out the upcoming season including College exposure tournaments, The Ronald McDonald Tournament and the ASA Nationals.

Our practices will consist of basic fundamentals, endurance training, hitting etc. We will work hard each practice and baseline stats will be taken and measured regularly for improvement.

Our goal is to prepare the ladies on this team for High School and College softball.
