Chicago Bandits, Amber Patton and Caitlin Lever, Join Forces with     Dirt Devil Nation

Current players of the Chicago Bandits, Amber Patton and Caitlin Lever, join the Dirt Devils Organization as Directors of Offseason Training. These two phenomenal athletes will assist in all facets of the game during the Dirt Devils offseason at the Genuwin Sports Training Facility. They will work one on one with players with hitting and slapping, proper baserunning techniques, and proper defense techniques in the infield and outfield.


Amber Patton is a two time Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-American who played her career at Depaul. Patton completed her senior season with the Blue Demons in 2009 with a school record .497 batting average which topped the Big East Conference and was second in the nation. A four-year letter winner at  third base, she holds Depaul's career records in assists(556) and sacrifice hits(58) and the single-season marks in hits(87), batting average, games started(69), games played(69) and at bats(216). Patton earned all-Big East honors all four years. In addition to her college career, Amber currently plays for the Chicago Bandits and has competed on the USA softball team.She has just completed her first year of coaching under Lindsay Chouinard at Northern Illinois. Amber also excelled in the classroom winning many National Honors and graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing.


Caitlin Lever is a former Olympian with the Canadian National Team. She played her collegiate career at Georgia Tech and Canisius. She was a three time All-ACC selection for the Yellowjackets.Became only the second Tech player to garner first team All-America Honors(2007). Finished her career at Tech third all-time in batting average(.377) and stolen bases(71) and fourth in hits(226), runs scored(139) and total bases(340). She finished fifth in home runs with 21 and rbi's with 126. Caitlin graduated from Georgia Tech in 2007 with a major in management.


Both ladies will be an integral part of our organization in offseason workouts and recruiting. We are blessed for the opportunity to work with both of these fine young women.
