If you eat a lot of high water content foods (fresh fruit and uncooked vegetables) then you don't need to drink as much water. In addition to this if you don't exercise you require even less water because you lose water through perspiration when you exercise...however, my real reason for responding to this post it to say that we should not be swayed by any articles or posts that discourage drinking water. Water is necessary and vital for life and proper body and brain functioning for EVERYBODY. You cannot go wrong by having too much of it. Don't even worry about hyponaturia because that is so rare and happens when there are other dehydration or health issues already going on. Bottom line here: DRINK MORE WATER!
