18U A Starting Pitcher needed - want more time in the circle

The Oak Park Windmills 18U team is looking to add a starting pitcher to our already very solid defense.  We will be participating in 3 fall exposure tournaments - equal playing time is guaranteed for exposure events.  For more information or a private tryout please contract Jenn at 312-282-9707 or jennhiem@yahoo.com

Windmills Organization Overview
The Windmills Girls Fastpitch Softball organization is based in Oak Park and has been serving surrounding communities since 1989 with teams for girls 7-18 years of age.  The Windmills are a competitive travel softball organization that prepares players for high school and college competition.  The annual goal for most Windmills teams is winning a bid to an ASA national tournament.  For high school aged girls we offer college exposure trips and assistance in applying to play in college.  Oak Park River Forest High School (OPRF) won the Illinois state championship in 2005 with 13 Windmills players!  Windmills teams have won two AFA national championships and had prominent finishes in many ASA, AFA, NSA and USSSA events!

In 2005 the Windmills opened our own practice facility at 1401 S. Circle, Forest Park.  The Windmills Academy is 4400 square feet with two dedicated hitting tunnels, a large open practice area and a dedicated pitching tunnel.  Each hitting tunnel has a pitching machine and the pitching tunnel has built-in radar.  We have also installed the RightView Pro video softball training system ( http://www.rightviewpro.com/ ) for use by all of the Windmills teams.  The Academy is used for team practices, individual practices and special clinics for player and coach development.  In 2010 we hosted both Northwestern head coach, Kate Drohan and DePaul head coach, Eugene Lenti for Windmills coaching clinics.
