I'm currently beginning training for a 1/2 marathon on 9/25 and also want to do a Sprint on 10/9. Since the training would overlap, does anyone have any tips or resources? My main concern is how to adequately combine the bricks, long runs and recovery days. Seems like they may conflict?

Rich,last year I had the same situation except I had a fall Marathon.For a sprint/half I would do this-Tues 10 mile bike 5 mile run-Thur [same]-Sun 20 mile bike 8 mile run.But the following week skip the bike on Sunday and increase mileage on the run.Of course everyone is different but you'll feel strong when it's just a run day without the bike.Good luck,Mike
