Please post any technical issues you're having with the forums since the September upgrade. (Any personal issues that you're having with the forums are best taken to The Clubhouse section.)
Maybe we'll have some luck getting answers or fixes if we put all of our problems/complaints/confusions/whatnot in one place. We might also be able to help each other figure out what's new.

- I still don't see the moderation queue in my profile.
- I frequently get an error when posting, though the post is applied anyway.
- I think having my full name appear in my posts should be changed.
- I would love to have my Bookmarks back.

Another post-upgrade issue: The site seems to be down at least as often as it's up. Very unstable.

The next time the administrators are thinking about an upgrade -- how about in the middle of the winter. The runners are in the midst or on the verge of the best racing part of the year -- marathons, halfs, etc galore -- and the board is down.
I moderate a NY Rangers (hockey) board. I would not do an upgrade during the playoffs. That is what the timing of this upgrade is equivalent to.
Excellent point. (Go Sabres!, by the way.)
Irrespective of timing, how about testing the upgrades in a non-production environment (or looking at a staged rollout to minimize disruption) before foisting it on the user base?
I had a great deal of trouble logging in yesterday. After entering my login info, I most frequently ended up with a screen telling me that "a serious error has occurred." No kidding.

I am having most of the same issues. The 1st time they took the system down, they should have been posted something telling everyone the system was going to be down a week or two before it happen.
From what I can tell, the search function is mostly broken. Any search I try comes up with "No results," though I do get partial username matches.

Some of my problems have been fixed. But:
- I still don't see the moderation queue in my profile.
- I still sometimes get an error when posting, though the post is applied anyway.
- I think having my full name appear in my posts should be changed.
- I would love to have my Bookmarks back.
- And yes, the search function seems to be broken. I haven't gotten one to work yet.
- Navigation is still an issue.
- "Guest" can now post. I don't like the idea of anonymous posts. There needs to be accountability In cause of abusive posts.

I just sent an email to support, listing the issues in my post above.

E-mail notifications for new posts appear not to be working, even when they are activated for a given thread (i.e., not operator error).

Any response? The moderation queue has been visible to me consistently, but it still has a dozen "phantom" moderation items. I can see it whether I'm at home (Macbook Pro running OS X 10.6.8 and Firefox 7.0.1) or at work (Dell Dimension of some sort running Windows XP Pro SP3 and Firefox 7.0.1 I think). I wonder what's different about our accounts that I can see the queue and you can't.
I agree completely about anonymous/Guest posts.

I originally emailed them on 9/21 and it took a little over a week for them to respond. The response basically suggested I was running an old version of IE and to upgrade and check my settings. I'm running IE8 and I work in deskside support so I'm pretty up-to-date.
My second email went out 10/11, so I expect I'll hear from them soon.

After the upgrade I lost e-mail notification and the ability to apply to posts. Contacting active.com support by phone and e-mail produced no help. I e-mailed a moderator (dwm082) in hopes I might get someone to respond to me. This moderator promptly responded even though this is not part of his role and suggested I try using Internet Explorer for a browser if i wasn't already. I always use Mozilla so I tried the idea and I was able to repsond to posts. I still however am not recieivng e-mail notifications though listed beneath "Your Email Notifications" it has listed running and penquins. I also want to know why the penguins (slow runners) isn't listed under Communities.
If anyone has any ideas for me i'd like to try thm out; browsing through all the running posts for penguin posts is geting old.
