I went back to the park today. I did the short loop again, but after I was done I realized the long loop is only 1.5 miles. I can definitely do that once, then do a couple of laps on the short loop to finish up. As inconvenient as it is to drive to the park, I honestly don't see myself going back to running on sidewalks and streets.
I previously had problems with my shins, but my chiropractor suggested icing them after running and then putting some Traumeel on them. I did that on Wednesday and they were much better today. Of course today I didn't have time to ice them, and forgot the Traumeel. My next run is Monday, so we'll see how that goes. All in all it's going well. I'm getting through all the runs, although the last one is at a much slower pace.
If I don't run in the morning before starting my day, it's not going to get done. I know myself pretty well. The good thing is that as a Realtor, I pretty much set my own schedule. Monday will be my first real early morning run, because I have an 8:30 appointment to bring my car in for service. That will be interesting.
