Completed the second to last 20+ mile long run this past weekend before the NYC Marathon. This one was 22 miles. Took it nice and easy, 7:54 pace overall. The weather was very comfortable, around 48. The second half was sunny, as I had to start at 5 AM to fit the run in before some family obligations! I wore the New Balance 890 with REVLite shoes, and again, they felt great throughout. The last long run before NY is 23 miles, scheduled for 10/22, before tapering begins. Tapering will still include interval workouts, and tempo runs.
