I have just completed the prescribed training plans, and completed my fisrt Half Ironman traithlon last weekend. The program was an excellent lead in to my event. I have really increased my fitness level and taken it to the next step. I ended up with the fastest bike split of everyone, but faded in the last third of the run due to cramps in my stomach and legs. Ended up as nr 9 out of 95 overall in 5:51 hrs in the Magic Mountain Man Triathlon.
I will defenitely reccoend this program to everyone who is serious about their traning, but be prepared for a lot of work. Some of the weeks require long workouts in the weekends, but it really prepares you for the halv ironman distance.
I really enjoid the combination of swin-run workouts and then bike on different days. This program took me from doing swim, bike and run training to doing triathlon training!
