My new bike is here!!! Is she legal?

After much waiting, my new bike is here!!! Haven't ridden her yet (family issues...). I am pretty excited, but a bit concerned at the same time.

She's a Terry. My old Terry is the first frame size with wheels the same size. My new Terry has the smaller front wheel. When I was riding my sister's Terry with the smaller front wheel I had people tell me that she wasn't race legal. Whatever--my sister's bike, and she was doing ultra distances.

Mostly I tour, so I don't care about racing rules. However, I plan to do a HIM. Anyone know if she is legal? Or do I need to ***GASP*** return her, and get the next larger size?

USAT 5.11.g[/URL" target="_blank">: "Except as otherwise determined by the race director in the interest of safety, the front wheel may be of a different diameter than the rear wheel, but the front wheel must be of spoke construction."

or did you talk yourself out of that?

Nah, I had to go with the standard paint job... So she should be legal for any tris that I do?

I still haven't gotten to ride her! My parents are in town and dad couldn't understand what was so important about me picking up the bike today. Couldn't it wait until Monday? He did the same when my sister got her Doug Fattic frame back in high school... I have to work in the morning, then my parents are coming over in the afternoon. I'm glad to see them and all, but I want to ride my bicycle!!!
