Futsal is a variant of soccer that is played on a smaller pitch and mainly played indoors.  Futsal is player between two teams each with five players, one of whom is the goalkeeper.  Unlimited subsitutions are permitted.  Unlike some other forms of indoor soccer, the game is played on a hard court surface delimited by lines; walls or boards are not used.  Futsal is also played with a smaller ball with less bounce than a regular soccer ball.  The rules create an emphasis on improvision, creativity and technique as well as ball control and passing in small spaces.  The best soccer players around the world developed their skills at an exponential rate using the Futsal as a training tool.  Ronaldinho, Robinho, Messi, Iniesta, Villa Pele, Maradona and Zidane to name a few have all played the game of Futsal
