Professional instruction is led by Coaching Director Bobby Maitia and includes former college/professional players as coaches.

BBBC plays year around.

Spring season- January-May for players in 6th-8th grade. 

Summer season-  June - August and concludes with the Club attending the World Series in San Diego.  

Winter season-  September-November

Ages accepted: incoming 6^th  grade– outgoing 12^th grade

Players are grouped by their graduating year in high school as this is how they will be scouted for college.  Currently, BBBC has produced 76 players that have advanced to play at the college and/or professional level.

Seasonal Dues: $650-$750 + a 1 time uniform fee $100 (jersey, practice shirt and hat)

Fundraising- available and encouraged

Your fee pays for:

• Quality professional instruction by experienced Bakersfield Baseball  Academy coaches
• Entrance fees for tournaments and/or local league team play
• Coaches’ travel expenses for out of town tournaments and games
• Local and away single and double header games
• Umpires for local games
• Approximately 25-35 games per season
• As many as 100 at-bats for hitters, 30 innings for pitchers
• Travel to well scouted, high-intensity tournaments
• Experience with some of the best players in Bakersfield
• Exposure to college scouts that may be difficult to find otherwise
