Sorry I missed this yesterday. Run On will have anywhere from 10 -25 runners usually and all ability levels. Most groups do 3 to 4 miles, but the faster group (mostly guys) tends to do a bit more than that.

I haven't been running on Wed. over the summer since I'm a huge heat wimp, but I've never had trouble finding someone who wanted to go 5 or 6 with me.

Hey everybody, just wanted to tell y'all I just got hired as a Full-time clerk at Run-on in Dallas. I start in two weeks. Before that if anyone is looking for home audio or video equipment and would like the best deal they could ever get on new equipment let me know. I work at the Ultimate Electronics by Hulen Mall in fort Worth.

Congratulations on your new job. Does life get any better?!
My son needs a new Playstation 2. Can you hook me up? His other one doesn't work...he kept pausing games (and leaving them, like over night!), and evidentally the laser, or whatever it is that reads the cd, burned out.
You won't mind that long drive to work each day? Actually, I don't know where the RunOn in Dallas is, so maybe it's not so far. Guess you'll have your relay team of RunOn folks now, won't you?

We don't sell the PS2 or I would. Sorry about that. The drive will be longer but i'm used to driving to and fro so its no big deal. As for the relay the offer is still open to anyone on here. So far its just you and I though. We need three more people still. Greenman, would you be interested? Anyways I won't disown you no worries, eh. I was wanting to do it with people from heremore so just to have an excuse to meet some more of you and have some fun. I ran the relay in high school with some team mates and it was a blast. I think they had the worlds largest enchilada afterwards or something crazy like that..... we waited 3 hours and got some cheesy pens for first place in the open male category....woohoo

Well, Greenman's gone big time now...Mr. Sub 20 and all..I might not be fast enough for him. Anyway, for a mixed team, you have to have two females, don't you? I looked up the winners from last year, and there were some pretty fast runners on mixed teams (Kristen Jett, etc). I think it would be fun, so count me in. By the way though, I do not drive in Dallas, so I would have to ride with, or follow someone else.

Hey pesiv, congrats on the job! I get into that Run On every once in a great while, so I may see you there.

As for the relay, it's not clear that I'll be in town that weekend. Otherwise I'd love to join your team, especially since Cora's aboard as well. But I can't commit to it right now. Sorry!

I take it you're at the RunOn off Mockingbird? I hope you love it, and maybe we'll get to chat on weekends when you guys need something and get desperate enough to call us for it. (we always call Dallas, you're next door to the warehouse and can get everything)

Pesiv.....dude, you're my hero!

My Pioneer Elite 45tx receiver just died.......does Ultimate do service?....where should I take it?....If I can't get it fixed for a reasonable price, what model now replaces it, and what new improvements make it worth the upgrade?.....more importantly, how much will this cost me? HELP!

Man that is one sweet receiver. We do service them it is around a forty dollar deposit to send it off but that authorizes them to fix it up to a certain dollar amount also the turn around time is going to be at least 3 weeks if not a little more. Whats wrong with it, an output bad or just no power? The new high end model is the vsx59txi it retails for 3999.95 I can sell it to you for about 1000 off if you like, or if thats too high come in and we can look at some other receivers, either way the mark up on home audio is pretty decent so I can get you a heck of deal like the above one on most of the receivers. I only have one week left so there's not much time let me know asap.

Woohoo! My son had his first football game of the season today. (He plays on a fifth and sixth grade team for our youth association). We played Kennedale, and won 22-0! He sacked the quarterback once, and was in on several tackles. It was raining the first quarter of the game, then let up.
