Running seniors

Are there any seniors who started running marathons after turning 50? What joys and what obstacles have you encountered? Come on, don't be shy. Let's talk about being late blooming athletes. I'm one and happy as can be. I'm in the best physical shape of my life, very pleased with my achievements and motivated to keep running as long as I can without causing major injuries to my body. Re: Running seniors

I have never in my life been a runner but I WILL be a runner when I'm 50. That will be this year. I know there are a lot of senior runners out there and I think it's awesome.
